Test Fires

In order to get a better idea of the temperatures at which high end glass starts to fall over I have done a series of test fires. The following use Bullseye tetra glass and were fired using the standard Bullseye schedule for two layers of 3 mm tack fused glass (as these were just test pieces no allowance was made for the fact the glass was higher than 3 mm and no extra anneal was done – note I would highly recommend you make such allowances with real pieces to avoid cracking and disappointment.)

Note all the pieces were held for 10 minutes. The long pieces were all approximately 1 cm high.
